Last week, the CHS instrumental music students participated in an action packed trip that included a performance by the marching band on Main Street, Disneyland USA, a recording studio session at the Disney Imagination Campus for the symphonic band and string orchestra, a dance workshop for the auxiliary team, and a spot in the Music in the Parks competition. The Minutemen not only represented their school and program beautifully with their positive spirit and behavior, but they also earned several awards for their performances at Music in the Parks. These included a 1st place and an Overall win for Symphonic, a 1st place and overall for Jazz I ensemble, a 3rd place award for Jazz II, a 2nd place for String Orchestra and an Outstanding Soloist award for Alan Montano. Congratulations Minutemen!
