Fundraising

Our Mission

Fundraising is the lifeblood of our music program. The School District provides a $1000.00 a year for the over-all music program. In addition the district provides $600 a year for instrumental repair. The current operating cost for the music program including trips is 10 times what the district provides.

The additional money that needs to be raised every year comes from student and parent funding and/or raising the money necessary through fundraisers to keep the program alive. This however is not enough and we need corporate, local business, the community, grants, donations and other support to give these students the opportunities they deserve.

With the district providing $8 per student, per year for music education, and the state last of California last (in our nation) in funding education for our students. It is critical that you help the music program in any way possible.
