About Us

Our Mission is to develope and provide a program that focuses on Life Skills, Education (both Music and Academic), Progressive/Creative and Critical Thinking, Culture and Tradition, and Community Awareness.

Our Purpose through the teaching of music and the arts, students have the opportunity to explore personal, as well as, group (ensemble) goals. The opportunities provided include Performance (Festival, Concert, Parade, Community, Showcase), Multimedia/Technology (Film Scoring & Development, Radio Broadcasting, Recording Arts, Web-based Remote Tutoring, Composition/Arranging/Mixing), and Leadership (Band Council, Drum Majors, Captains, Section Leaders, Conducting). The final and most important aspect of our program is the quality of our students. Our students are the finest at Concord High School in every aspect. They are expected to achieve at the highest levels in Music and Academics. They are expected to be ambassadors every where they go and represent the very best that Concord High School has to offer. Our students need to strive musically, academically, and personally. As our students go through and finally graduate from Concord High, the greatest questions are:

What kind of education did you receive?
What kind of experiences did you have?
What kind of person (adult) will you become?

We believe that the strength of this program and the determination (and dedication) of the Director, Staff, Boosters (Parents) and Students will help to provide positive answers to these questions.
