Auxiliaries

The Auxiliary Program provides young men and women with a positive team performance experience. Students learn dance/equipment technique, leadership skills, and teamwork. Auxiliary members grow to be more confident young adults. The program runs year-round with two different audition-only teams…

Auxiliary Unit

This team is made up of the letter & flag lines. They perform in the fall with the marching band and cheer programs. Performances include band reviews, parades, rallies, football games, and community events. All members are trained in dance, equipment, and marching technique. Training clinics/auditions are held in the spring and rehearsals are held during the summer and fall.

Winter Guard

This team performs independently of the band and cheer programs. The group travels around Northern California to compete against other high school guards. All members must be able to spin tall flag and rifle, and they must possess basic dance skills. More experienced members may also have the opportunity to perform with saber and/or swing flags. This more advanced group offers training clinics in early fall. Regular rehearsals begin after auditions and continue throughout the competitive season ending in early spring.
